Insurance Participation
I currently participate with United Health Care through Alma. I also accept cliets through Lyra (an employee benefit program). I can also provide superbills for Out-of-Network reimbursement..
Rates
The out-of-pocket rate is $200 per 45-minute session thereafter. If you wish to use out-of-network benefits, documentation will be provided. There is a $100 late cancellation fee for missed or last-minute cancellations. This fee is charged to the credit card on file and is not billable to insurance. Copays, deductible payments, and out-of-pocket fees for Alma-participating plans are collected directly by Alma, the billing service I contract with.
Appointment Times
Appointments are currently available Monday through Thursday during business hours. Evening appointments are not available at this time.
Telehealth
HIPAA-compliant video sessions are available in addition to in-person appointments. Telehealth services are available only to New York State residents, and you must be physically located in New York State at the time of the session. In-person appointments are available on a limited basis.

I provide psychotherapy for adults (18 and older).
Pre-treatment Phone Call
By completing the form below, you may begin the process of initiating treatment. After submission, you will receive initial consent documents and be contacted to schedule a pre-treatment phone consultation. Because psychotherapy involves complex clinical and ethical considerations, the consent forms contain detailed information covering a variety of situations. You are not required to sign the consent forms before the consultation, but you are encouraged to review them to ensure you are comfortable with my policies.
During the pre-treatment call, we will:
Discuss scheduling
Review the concerns you would like to address
Determine whether I am an appropriate fit for your needs
Address any questions you may have
If we decide to move forward, you will receive an invitation to electronically sign the paperwork. If applicable, Alma will contact you by email to confirm insurance details.
